12:10 p.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Megan Donnelly, 22, of Oakdale, Allegheny County, and a pickup driven by Thomas Rob, 52, of Butler collided at North McKean and East Brady streets. Police said Rob is charged with driving with a suspended license.

2:45 p.m. Sunday — A pickup driven by Jay Edward Vinroe Jr., 21, of Butler ended up in a small creek after crashing on Delwood Road under the Route 422 overpass. Police said Vinroe lost control of the pickup apparently after falling asleep at the wheel.A crane had to be called in to remove the vehicle from the creek. Police said Vinroe was cited for driving without a license, not immediately reporting the accident and reckless driving.

Sunday — Someone between 3:30 and 8 p.m. entered a home in the 400 block of Highland Avenue. Police said the home's resident returned to find several cabinets open and water running from the faucet. Nothing was reported stolen.Thursday — Carl Amodei, 44, is accused of struggling with police called to his Woodland Avenue residence for a reported domestic disturbance. Officers said when they got there Amodei appeared to be intoxicated and was acting disorderly.A police report said when officers tried to detain the suspect he resisted. Amodei was arrested and charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. He was arraigned on charges and released on recognizance bond.2:19 p.m. Nov. 4 — A small, silver and gray hard case with a silver handle was found on the sidewalk of the 500 block of Woodland Avenue. The owner can claim the property at the police station on East Pine Street.11:30 a.m. Nov. 1 — An unknown man, maybe in his 70s, is being sought for pepper spraying a motorist in an apparent case of road rage in the 600 block of Liberty Street.The victim, who police did not identify, said he was pulling out of a driveway when he saw a silver colored Chevy Trailblazer rapidly approach him. The man driving the Trailblazer made an obscene gesture and pointed for the victim to pull over.Police said the victim got out of his vehicle and went over to the Trailblazer. The suspect, described as white, between 60 and 75 years old with thinning white hair and eyeglasses, then sprayed the victim with pepper spray.Anyone with information about the alleged assault is asked to call police at 724-458-7925.

Monday — Police charged Alex A. Garrubba, 21, of Butler with driving under the influence stemming from a traffic stop just before midnight Oct. 30 at routes 8 and 138 in Clay Township. Additionally, he is charged with driving with a suspended license, careless driving, reckless driving, not wearing a seat belt and five other traffic violations.Monday — Police charged Terri Lynn Lemon, 41, of Butler with DUI stemming from a traffic stop at 2:22 a.m. Oct. 24 on Route 68 in Oakland Township. She also is charged with speeding, driving at an unsafe speed, careless driving and not wearing a seat belt.2:35 a.m. Saturday — Kevin M. Summers, 32, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Route 8 near Butler Pre-Owned Autos in Butler Township.Thursday — An unknown thief stole brass fitting safety caps and related property from Portersville Sales and Testing on Route 19 in Portersville. The stolen items, with "WV" engraved on them, were taken between noon and 1 p.m.8:30 a.m. Nov. 3 — A car driven by Christine Harancher, 44, of Butler struck a deer on Route 308 near Mahood Road in Clay Township.

Tuesday — The Bradys Bend Township Building on Route 68 was broken into over the weekend and two offices were ransacked; nothing, however, was stolen. Police are investigating the burglary that happened between 4 p.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m. Monday.State Police, MercerTuesday — Charles B. Merrick, 55, of Grove City is accused of using a "sleight-of-hand" type scheme Oct. 24 to steal hundreds of dollars from the Wal-Mart store in Pine Township.The scam, police said, went like this: the suspect bought a television at the store. He later allegedly placed an old TV in the new box and returned it for a $458 refund. He is charged with theft by deception.
