Mary and Charles Day

Charles and Mary Day of Butler celebrated 60 years of marriage with a reception surrounded by family.

Day married the former Mary Houk on Oct. 15, 1949, at Slippery Rock Presbyterian Church in Ellwood City.

They have five children, Barbara Kriner of Butler, Richard Day of Mars, Charles Day of Butler, Nancy McKeever of Butler and Kathy Farra of Harmony.

They also have nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. Day is retired from Armco.

Mrs. Day is retired from Butler Memorial Hospital, where she was a registered nurse.

The Days attend Community Alliance Church.
