M. Kenneth and Garnet Stephenson

M. Kenneth and Garnet Stephenson of Slippery Rock recently celebrated 50 years of marriage.

Stephenson married the former Garnet T. Henricks on Sept. 3, 1959, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Butler.

They have two children, Melanie Petridis of Worth Township and G. Todd Stephenson of Slippery Rock.

They also have two grandchildren.

Mr. Stephenson is a retired architectural designer. He also is retired from his job as a bus driver at the Tampa International Airport. He is involved with the Boy Scouts of America and is a past member of the Butler Lions Club, Butler Lodge 272, the Scottish Consistory of New Castle and the Syria Shrine.

Mrs. Stephenson is a homemaker.

The Stephensons attend St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Cabot.
