Two Butler County students were named to the Homecoming Court at Thiel College on Oct. 2:

Michelle Gable of Mars is a junior premedicine and biology major. She is captain of the cheerleading squad, vice president of Zeta Tau Delta and a member of the biology honorary Newman Society and the student athletic advisory committee. She is the daughter of Irvin and Teresa Gable.•
Matt Schneider of Butler is freshman class president, a member of the Thiel Activities Board and is currently pledging Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. A neuroscience major, he is the son of Gary and Sharon Schneider.———
<B>Sarah Schubert</B> of Butler was honored during the fall student awards ceremony at Bucknell University.Schubert received the American Chemical Society undergraduate award in analytical chemistry.Schubert is majoring in cell biology and biochemistry. She is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.A 2006 graduate of Butler High School, she is the daughter of Fred and Dianne Maihle of Butler and David Schubert of Prospect.———Team members at Cranberry Township Chick-fil-A were awarded the chain's national leadership scholarship.<B>Naomi Barley </B>of Mars, <B>Ashley Zajacs</B> of Evans City, and <B>Rebecca Starosta</B> and <B>Gina Ciramella</B>, both of Cranberry Township, received $1,000 scholarships from franchise operator Ron Trout at the Cranberry restaurant.
