The Lackeys in 1959

William and Phyllis Lackey of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with a reception Sept. 18 at the Summit Sportsmans Club in Butler.

Lackey married the former Phyllis Rodgers on Sept. 18, 1959, at Missionary Alliance Church in Butler.

They have four children, Lori Eakin of Butler, Jeff Lackey of Chicora, Debbie Kaylor of Butler and Lee Ann Thomas of Karns City.

They also have nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. Lackey retired in 2001 from AK Steel after 42 years of service.Mrs. Lackey is a homemaker.
