8:23 a.m. Saturday — Harold Green, 66, of Butler reported the overnight theft of a red mountain bike from outside his home at 224 Amy Ave. Green did not know the brand or model of the bike.5:17 p.m. Friday — Sarah Jean Jones, 21, of Evans City was arrested for retail theft after allegedly stealing nearly $67 worth of items, including jewelry, batteries and fake nails, from the Kmart store off Hansen Avenue.

10 p.m. Sunday — Justin Holt, 20, of Slippery Rock reported the theft of $30 from a wallet inside his unlocked vehicle while it was parked in the Slippery Rock Apartments parking lot.Sunday — Miller's Garage in Oakland Township reported the theft of 10 inspection stickers from a lockbox in the business' Davis Road location between 9 and 10 p.m. Police are investigating.8:35 p.m. Saturday — An unknown vehicle hit a mailbox at 426 Muddy Creek Drive in Brady Township before driving through the yard and fleeing northbound. Anyone with information about the incident can call police at 724-284-8100.Friday — Anthony Murphy, 33, and Heather Thompson, 37, both of Slippery Rock, reported their vehicles scratched sometime between 12:01 a.m. and 5 p.m. while they were parked near 242 Stoughton Beach Road. The damage is estimated at $500 for each vehicle. Anyone with information about the incident can call police at 724-284-8100.Friday — Dave Aiken, 40, of Portersville reported 10 weights were stolen from his John Deere tractor while it was parked in a field near Lake Arthur Estates Mobile Home Park in Muddy Creek Township between 8 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday. The green plates are 12 feet-by-2-feet-by-18-feet and have "JD" and "47 kg" stamped on them. Anyone with information about the theft should call police at 724-284-8100.Thursday — Raymond Elliott, 48, of Chicora reported the theft of two Fox motorcycle helmets worth $200 each, two pair of Scott goggles worth $30 each and one pair of Fox racing gloves worth $30 from two motorcycles while they were parked in a wooded area off Center Drive in Oakland Township between 6 and 6:20 p.m. Anyone with information can call police at 724-284-8100.Thursday — Brayman Corp. of Saxonburg reported the theft of two pieces of Werner Aluminum scaffolding measuring 20 feet by 20 inches from a construction site along West Park Road in Worth Township.10:10 p.m. Sept. 18 — A car driven by Judy Christy, 44, of Bruin struck the rear of an SUV driven by Jessica Tribble, 30, of Slippery Rock on Route 8 in Slippery Rock Township. No injuries were reported. Christy was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

12:45 p.m. Sunday — A pickup truck driven by Carlton Walter, age unavailable, of Mercer and an SUV driven by Adrian Southworth, age unavailable, of Emlenton collided on Route 58 in Findley Township.7:25 a.m. Sunday — An SUV, whose driver was described by police only as a female juvenile, traveled off Route 173 in Worth Township and hit a ditch before rolling over. The girl was taken by ambulance to Grove City Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.5:38 p.m. Saturday — An SUV driven by Edward Nedved, 49, of Mercer spun on Irishtown Road before hitting a ditch and rolling onto its roof. Nedved was not injured.11:15 a.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by Heather Gable, 36, of Grove City hit an embankment off Route 258 in Springfield Township. Gable, who was wearing a seat belt, received minor injuries.Sept. 18 — A 61-year-old Grove City woman reported a case of identity theft in which two credit card accounts were fraudulently opened in her name. Police are investigating.
