Janet Lynn Randolph

Janet Lynn Piatt Randolph, 62, of Sanderson Drive, Slippery Rock, Slippery Rock Township, died at 6 a.m. Friday at her home.

Born July 27, 1947, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Thaddeus Marion Piatt and Jane Josephine (Pugaczewski) Piatt, who survives.

She married Wilfred F. Randolph on Sept. 14, 1968, and he died April 30, 1995.

Janet was a registered nurse, having retired from Grove City Medical Center.

She was a 1965 graduate of Mt. Alvernia High School in Pittsburgh and a 1968 graduate of West Penn Hospital School of Nursing.

Janet loved to bowl, was a collector of Boyds Bears and loved the beach.

Surviving are a daughter, Stacie L. and her husband, Chris Twentier, of Slippery Rock; a son, Sean R. Randolph of the residence; her mother, Jane Josephine Piatt of Pittsburgh; a brother, James T. Piatt of Edgewater, Md.; a sister, Karen J. Riley of Normandy, Tenn.; and also her dog, DJ; and a cat, Rogi.

<B>RANDOLPH</B> — Visitation for Janet Lynn Piatt Randolph, who died Friday, Aug. 21, 2009. will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at <B>Smith Funeral Home</B>, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock. A private service will be held Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Slippery Rock Cemetery.
