David Paul Williams
David Paul Williams, 66, of Parker passed away early Wednesday morning at Clarion Hospital following a 10-month cardiovascular breakdown.
Born April 6, 1943, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Paul L. and Grace Hutchison Williams.
He was a 1961 graduate of the Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School District, Emlenton Building, and he also graduated from Robert Morris College in Pittsburgh.
Dave was employed as both a new and used automobile salesman all his adult life, working with dealerships in Butler, Clarion and New Bethlehem.
A veteran of the Vietnam War era, he served in Hawaii with the U.S. Navy as a communications technician, being honorably discharged with the rank of CT/2. Dave was a member of the U.S. Naval Cryptologic Association. He also was a member of the American Legion Post 598 of Parker and a social member of the VFW Post 7073.He shall be remembered as participating in Memorial Day services singing the Navy Hymn with Parker veterans' posts.Dave was a lifelong Presbyterian and was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Parker as well.He was married to the former, Carolyn Harriger, who preceded him in death Nov. 5, 2004.Surviving are two stepchildren, Tammy Zacherl of Shippenville and Tom Bickel of North Carolina. Several cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dan Myers officiating.
