Jeanette Ann Kennedy
Jeanette Ann Kennedy, 77 years old, of Browns Mill Road, Evans City, died Monday at her residence in the company of her family.
Born July 6, 1932, in Yulan, N.Y., she was the daughter of John and Eva Weber and was a graduate of Eldred Central School, Eldred, N.Y.
She was employed as a waitress, retiring in 1990. Jeanette also was a mother and housewife. She was a member of the Harmony-Evans City VFW 449 in Evans City, where she had held the office of president, a member of the Historical Society, a volunteer driver for Meals on Wheels, a member of the Evans City Senior Center and a member of Crestview Community Church in Callery.
Jeanette helped with many socials, always giving, helping and caring to family, friends, neighbors and those who needed a helping hand.
She is survived by her dear friend and caregiver, Ronald Cahall of Callery; her former husband, Richard E. Hallock of Elmwood, Neb.; daughters, Mrs. Penny Palmer and her husband, Terry, of Missouri and their son Tyler, Ms. Georgette Rose Cahall of West Sunbury and her children, Becky, Tiffany and Ronald Charles, Mrs. Kathleen Kivler and her husband, Jerry, of Woodridge, N.Y., and their children, Charles, Jessica, Amanda, Cortney and Joshua; Marilyn Hallock of New York; son, John Hallock of Elmwood, Neb., and his children, Christine, John and Jerrod; two stepsons, Richard P. Kennedy of Butler and Brian W. Kennedy of Allison Park; former sons-in-law, Tim Held of Evans City and Jerry Lutz of West Sunbury; daughter-in-law Korinne Conklin of New York; sisters, Mrs. Virginia Donahue of Montana, Mrs. Chrys Thompson and her husband, William, of Yulan, N.Y.; brothers, Mr. Dave Weber and his wife, Marie, of Yulan, N.Y., Mr. Rodger Weber and his wife, Ruth, of Binghamton, N.Y., and Edward O'Connell of Sumter, S.C.; sister-in-law, Mrs. Dorothy Weber of Avon Park, Fla.; 21 additional grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews and dear friends, Cletus Miller and Kiley Rose her granddaughter, Sue and Jeff and Bill and Sallie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Bus" Kennedy; her daughter, Annette Rebecca Cahall; her sons, Kenneth and Richard Hallock; her stepdaughter, Carol Leisure; sisters, Betty Weber and Gail O'Connell; brother, Fred Weber; granddaughter, Anita Hallock; godson and nephew, Robbie Case; nephew, Charles "Chip" Wilson; and sister-in-law, Chookie Wilson.
<B>KENNEDY</B> — Friends of Jeanette Ann Kennedy, who died Monday, Aug. 17, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 116 E. Main St., Evans City, where funeral services will follow at 9 p.m. today.
