8:16 p.m. Thursday — Jennie A. Morris, 31, of Butler was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police investigating a disturbance at her North Main Street apartment allegedly turned up two used syringes and a glass pipe.6:07 p.m. Monday — Richard J. Ealy, 18, of Parker was charged with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly grabbed Holly Smith of Butler by the neck during an argument at Smith's Peach Street apartment.1:41 p.m. Monday — Samantha M. Harold, 19, of Butler was charged with theft by unlawful taking after she allegedly stole a phone belonging to Jennifer Smith of Butler. The phone is valued at $330.
10:23 p.m. Thursday — Gabrielle Swartzlander, 18, of Butler was cited for retail theft after she allegedly took merchandise from Wal-Mart in Butler Commons.
7 a.m. Wednesday — Someone cut a pair of locks valued at $20 off doors at the Lock-A-Spot Car Wash in Jefferson Township between 11 p.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday. The would-be burglar was unable to get inside, however.8:30 p.m. Tuesday — A pickup truck driven by Danny R. Facemire, 39, of Renfrew was struck by a hit-and-run vehicle on Upper Harmony Road in Connoquenessing Township. Facemire was not injured, and no description is available of the hit-and-run vehicle.
