Jeannette M. Freeland

Jeannette M. Freeland of Butler, died at 5:55 p.m. Friday surrounded by her family at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Howard Graham and Helen Leibler Graham.

She was a graduate of Butler High School.

Jeannette was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. She was employed in the musical record department at F.W. Woolworth's Department Store. She retired in 1978. She was a member of St Paul Christian Mothers, the prayer tree, VOICe, and was a volunteer for many charities.

She is survived by her husband, Richard C. Freeland, whom she married Oct. 14, 1977.

She is survived by a sister, Rita Yasinsky of Butler; a niece, Chris Day of Butler; three nephews, Stephen Douglas Yasinsky, Bradford Scott Yasinsky and Matthew Richard Freeland, all of Butler; several great-nieces and great-nephews; two sisters-in-law, Cherie A. Freeland and Betty Graham of Butler; and her mother-in-law, Cherie C. Freeland, also of Butler.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Howard (Tony) Graham, Charles Graham, and Robert Graham.

Jeannette also is survived by her faithful American Eskimo Spitz companions, Frosty and Snowflake.

<B>FREELAND</B> — Friends and family of Jeanette Freeland, who died Friday, Aug. 14, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at <B>THE THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME</B>, 124 E. North St.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery.St. Paul Guild and Christian Mothers will meet at 9:40 a.m. Monday at the church to recite the rosary.
