4:52 p.m. Friday — Joseph Thornton, 41, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on East Wayne Street. Police said Thornton also was cited for driving without insurance and two other traffic violations.4:22 p.m. Thursday — Justin Angerette, 33, was arrested for allegedly pushing an 8-year-old boy into a kitchen counter at the suspect's South Street home. Angerette is charged with simple assault.

3:05 p.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Jeffrey A. Mitch, 19, and a pickup truck driven by Ronald L. Savannah, 66, both of Butler collided on Route 8 in Center Township. Both drivers suffered minor injuries. Police said Mitch was cited for making an illegal U-turn.1:47 p.m. Tuesday — Jared L. Campbell, 26, of Portersville was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after his car struck an embankment on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township.8:36 a.m. Monday — A car driven by Katherine E. Flynn, 18, of New Wilmington, Lawrence County, struck the rear of a pickup on Route 108 near Simon Lane in Slippery Rock Township. Kristinia K. McCullough, 46, of Slippery Rock, who was driving the pickup, was treated at Grove City Medical Center for minor injuries. Police said Flynn was cited for driving too close to another vehicle.10:27 a.m. Aug. 22 — Debra S. Steele, 51, of Vandergrift, Westmoreland County, was cited for running a red light after a three-vehicle crash at Route 422 and Bonniebrook Road in Summit Township.Police say the crash occurred when Steele's sport utility vehicle collided with a pickup driven by Bernard McGaughey, 72, of Fenelton. The SUV, following the collision, struck a second pickup, driven by William Bush, 73, of Apollo, Armstrong County.

Saturday — A Slippery Rock woman reported that her cell phone was stolen between 2:30 and 6:45 p.m. while she worked at a store at Prime Outlets in Springfield Township.Aug. 25 — A Garmin global positioning system unit and an iPod were stolen from a Grove City woman's unlocked car on Oakhill Drive Extension in Pine Township. The property, valued at $450, was taken between Aug. 23 and 25.Aug. 13 — An unknown thief stole hardwood flooring, valued at $5,000, from a Grove City man's home construction site on Veterans Road in Springfield Township. The property was taken Aug. 12 or 13.
