12:34 a.m. Wednesday — John Edwin Spisak, 40, of Slippery Rock was charged with DUI and driving the wrong way on East Jefferson Street.

7:26 p.m. Tuesday — Sam Barr Jr., 26, of Lyndora was cited for driving without a license and damage to an unattended vehicle after he allegedly backed into a parked vehicle at AutoZone on New Castle Road and then fled the scene.3 p.m. Tuesday — Kaitlyn Stroup, 19, of Chicora and a 17-year-old Butler girl each were cited for retail theft after allegedly trying to take $40 worth of makeup from Wal-Mart in Butler Commons.4:19 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Ashley Goldsmith, 22, of Butler and a Jeep driven by Erin Close, 19, of Butler collided on Route 68 near South Eberhart Road.Grove City PoliceTuesday — Police are seeking the public's help to find the person who stole wire last week from the Verizon Central Office on South Center Street.The thief, investigators said, cut off and took the power supply wires running from the building to an emergency generator. The estimated damage and loss was placed at $3,000.Police believe the theft happened between 3:30 p.m. Aug. 11 and 7 a.m. Aug. 12. Anyone with any information is asked to call borough police at 724-458-7925.9:13 p.m. Aug. 11 — A motorcycle driven by Chad Richards, 28, of Mercer crashed in a car parked on South Broad Street. Police said Richards was cited for driving without insuranceAug. 7 — A black and orange Tony Hawk model bicycle was reported stolen from the porch of a West Poplar Street home. The bike was taken between Aug. 5 and 7.8:11 p.m. Aug. 4 — Vehicles driven by Katie Sherman, 18, of Grove City and Glenn Ritts Jr., 52, of Greenville collided at Princeton Street and Opre Avenue. Ritts was treated at Grove City Medical Center for back pain. Police said Sherman was cited for illegally entering the road.

8:15 a.m. Tuesday — An SUV driven by Jocelyn Kramarik, 25, of Slippery Rock was struck by a plank of wood which was hanging out of the window of a vehicle in the oncoming lane on Route 8 in Brady Township, damaging the hood and driver's side mirror. Kramarik and her passenger Zachary A. Bartman, 25, of Butler were not injured. The offending vehicle was described as a small black pickup truck. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.6:30 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Timothy W. Hentschel, 19, of Garnet Valley and an SUV driven by Lorraine L. Cole, 47, of Butler collided at the intersection of Route 8 and Muddy Creek Drive in Center Township. Cole was not wearing a seat belt and suffered moderate injuries. Hentschel was cited for vehicles turning left.8:16 p.m. Aug. 8 — Robert James Wiles, 20, of Hilliards, Emily Jo Hutchinson, 34, of Petrolia and Donald Bennett Deal, 27, of Parker were charged with harassment and simple assault following a fight at Alan's Roadhouse in Petrolia. Emily Jo Hutchinson, Deal and Scott Patrick Hutchinson, 39, of Petrolia were charged with criminal trespass in the same incident after being told they were not allowed in the bar previously.5 p.m. Aug. 4 — Someone stole an IBM T60 laptop computer, a Blackberry Curve cell phone, computer accessories and prescription medication belonging to John Cross of Berlin, Mass., from Coopers Lake Campground in Worth Township between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Aug. 4. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.9:44 p.m. Aug. 3 — Patrick J. Stillwagon, 52, of Butler was charged with DUI following a car crash on Old Route 422 near Dick Road in Franklin Township.State Police, Mercer4:07 p.m. Monday — Douglas M. Conner, 34, of Uniontown was arrested under suspicion of DUI following a car crash at the intersection of Route 58 and George Junior Road in Pine Township.10:53 p.m. Sunday — A car driven by a 16-year-old Slippery Rock girl crashed and rolled over twice before coming to rest on its roof along Tower Road in Springfield Township. The driver and her passenger, a 17-year-old Volant girl, were not injured.3:54 a.m. Sunday — Maggie Jean Thompson, 25, of Mercer was charged with DUI and summary traffic offenses following a traffic stop on Route 208 in Springfield Township.3 a.m. Sunday — Someone damaged a car belonging to Kristina Hemphill of Grove City with an apparent chemical explosive device while the car was parked on Woodside Drive in Pine Township. Anyone with information should call police at 724-662-6162.5:45 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Scott P. Stein, 19, of Grove City and a car driven by Brandon J. Barr, 33, of Grove City collided on Route 258 in Liberty Township. Barr suffered moderate injuries and a 3-year-old passenger in his car suffered minor injuries. Stein and Barr's passenger, Sara Dunn, 23, of Grove City, were not injured. Stein was cited for vehicles turning left.Friday — Someone stole money and a credit card belonging to Donna Jean Perrine of Jackson Center from her purse while she was at George Junior Republic in Pine Township between Aug. 13 and Friday.Aug. 13 — Someone stole a Kodak camera, money and a purse belonging to Jennifer Davis of New Castle from her car while it was parked at the Iron Bridge Inn in Springfield Township.Aug. 13 — Two juvenile boys were cited for retail theft after they allegedly tried to steal $100 worth of video games and DVDs from Wal-Mart in Pine Township.3:55 p.m. Aug. 10 — A car driven by John R. Vogt, 83, of Grove City crashed along Route 173 in Sandy Lake Township. Vogt and his passenger, Maybelle I. Vogt, 80, of Grove City suffered minor injuries.11:59 a.m. Aug. 7 — Someone stole a Blackberry Curve cell phone valued at $500 and belonging to Danyel May Curry, 26, of Slippery Rock from her vehicle while it was parked along Airport Road in Pine Township between 3 p.m. Aug. 5 and 11:59 a.m. Aug. 7.6 a.m. Aug. 8 — A motorcycle ridden by Wesley W. Barber, 37, of Sandy Lake crashed into a ditch along Route 868 in Sandy Lake Township. Barber was not wearing a helmet and suffered moderate injuries. He was cited for several traffic offenses including driving at unsafe speed.Aug. 7 — Someone broke into a trailer on Creek Road in Springfield township and stole various items belonging to Jason Self of Butler between June 1 and Aug. 7.2:10 a.m. Aug. 4 — Andrew W. Bennefield, 26, of Sandy Lake was arrested under suspicion of DUI following a traffic stop on Cranberry Road near George Junior Road in Pine Township.

3:34 p.m. Wednesday — A pickup driven by William R. Noel, 47, of Struthers, Ohio, crashed into a tree along Harlensburg Road in Scott Township. Noel was taken by medical helicopter to St. Elizabeth Hospital with moderate injuries.
