4:35 a.m. Saturday — Devin Lee Parker, 20, is accused of wielding a knife to threaten his mother, 36-year-old Emma Sue Scott, during a domestic dispute at their Standard Avenue apartment. Scott told police her son threatened to kill her and also threw the knife at her; she was not hurt.Parker fled the apartment when Scott called police. Officers searched the area but could not find him. Police said he's charged with terroristic threats and simple assault.Saturday — Police filed bad check charges against three people for allegedly writing bad checks at Friedman's supermarket on West Brady Street earlier this year.Charged were Norman Savannah, 65, of Butler for allegedly bouncing three checks between May 30 and June 4 for a combined $228.90; Justin Earl Hall, 21, of Rimersburg, Clarion County, for allegedly passing a bum check April 26 for $200; and Kenneth Alan Long, 42, no listed address, for allegedly bouncing a bad check July 10 for $362.56.8:01 p.m. Friday — Carlos Manuel Torres, 24, was arrested for allegedly assaulting his wife, 20-year-old Erin Torres, during a domestic dispute at their Franklin Street residence. Torres was arraigned on a charge of simple assault, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $2,500 bail.5:52 p.m. Friday — James Clayton Best Jr., 37, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence at Pullman Square. Best also was cited for driving with a suspended license.

2:37 a.m. Sunday — Heather M. Cornell, 26, of Freedom, Beaver County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Freedom and Commonwealth roads in Cranberry Township.1:45 a.m. Saturday — Eric M. Lyon, 32, of East Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUI on South Main Street in Butler.10:27 a.m. Friday — Emmett L. Sanderson, 14, of Butler was hurt when the car he was driving struck a wooden fence surrounding a fuel tank along Euclid School Road in Clay Township.The teen suffered minor injuries. A passenger, Jack L. Kummer, 65, of Butler, was not hurt. The boy was cited for an undisclosed traffic violation.1:46 a.m. Friday — Michael Theiss, 36, of Pittsburgh was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Route 356 in Buffalo Township.Tuesday — An unidentified driver struck a sport utility vehicle parked at Dick's Sporting Goods in the Clearview Mall in Center Township. The unknown driver did not stop following the crash, which occurred between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m.8:50 p.m. Aug. 4 — Susan Gail Drushel, 46, of Zelienople was arrested for suspicion of DUI after allegedly leading police on a chase on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township.Troopers looked for the suspect after she reportedly was seen driving at dark on Route 422 without her headlights on. She refused to pull over when spotted, which started a short pursuit, police said.Drushel, in addition to DUI, was arraigned on charges of fleeing or attempting to elude police, driving with a suspended license, driving during suspension with alcohol in her system, reckless driving, careless driving and a lighting violation. Following arraignment, she was placed in the Butler County Prison on $15,000 bail.Aug. 4 — A 21-year-old woman told police someone broke into her home on Angel Spur Road in Brady Township. The unknown suspect stole an undisclosed amount of money in the break-in between 6 p.m. Aug. 3 and 8 p.m. Aug. 4.Aug. 4 — A Bushnell motion camera was reported stolen from a camp at Coopers Lake campground in Worth Township. The theft occurred between 10:30 p.m. Aug. 3 and 7 a.m. Aug. 4.10:09 a.m. Aug. 2 — A pickup truck driven by Raymond E. Wilt III, 51, of Gibsonia struck a tree after sliding off North Road in Franklin Township. Wilt was cited for a lane violation.

9:58 a.m. Friday — Cars driven by Vernon D. Steele, 72, of Kittanning and Arthur M. Delano Jr., 66, of East Brady collided on Route 422 in West Franklin Township.
