Charles K. Bartley Jr.

Charles K. "Butch" Bartley Jr., 68, of Andover, Ohio, died Friday at his home.

He was born June 7, 1941, in Greensburg, the son of Alice M. (Cooper) and Charles K. Bartley Sr.

Mr. Bartley was the head of maintenance at the Ashtabula County (Ohio) Sanitation Department, where he worked for the past 18 years.

He was a musician and was voted "Best Bass" player in Western Pennsylvania.

Mr. Bartley enjoyed hunting, fishing and tinkering with tractors and was known to fix just about anything.

On Sept. 21, 1983, he married Sandra J. Davis, who preceded him in death along with his parents.

Survivors include a daughter, Sherrace (Bruce) MacCannell of Delaware; two sons, Charles K. (Carrie) Bartley III of West Sunbury and Anthony J. Bartley of Newell, W.Va.; special friends of the family, Denise L. Conn and April S. Meeusen, both of Conneaut Lake; five grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
