1:40 a.m. Sunday — A car driven by Clayton P. Casper, 18, of Butler struck a tree along Irene Lane near Route 308 in Clay Township. Police said Casper faces a ticket for a lane violation.12:47 a.m. Sunday — Dennis J. Baird, 50, of West Sunbury was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Pleasant Valley Road and Route 422 in Muddy Creek Township.1:30 a.m. Saturday — An unknown prowler wearing no pants tried to break into the second-floor window of a South Main Street home in Slippery Rock. Police said the suspect made sexual comments to a 22-year-old woman at the home.The woman grabbed a paddle and told the prowler to leave. A police news release did not describe the suspect, who fled in an unknown direction. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.12:50 a.m. Saturday — Frank Tebay, 26, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUI at Maple Avenue and Grant Street in Butler. Tebay was placed in the Butler County Prison after police found he was wanted on warrants.Friday — Six people were arrested for drunken driving during a roving DUI patrol in the county. Police said 61 vehicles were stopped in the detail.8 p.m. Wednesday — Robert Louis Koerbel, no age given, of Zelienople was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Interstate 79 in Worth Township. Police said Koerbel, who was wanted on a warrant, was placed in the county jail.8:46 a.m. Wednesday — A van driven by Sharon L. Meeder, 47, of Portersville and a motorcycle driven by Thomas Dineley, 52, of Ontario, Canada, collided on Route 422 at Riverview Homes in Franklin Township.Dineley and a passenger on the cycle, Kathy Dineley, 53, also of Ontario, were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for unknown injuries. Both cyclists were wearing helmets. Police said Meeder was cited for making an illegal left turn.10:29 p.m. July 5 — Joshua Richard McWilliams, 26, of Boyers was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Unionville Road near Route 422 in Franklin Township.

3:35 p.m. Saturday — A pickup truck driven by Jeremy S. Hollobaugh, 25, of Ford City crashed into a hillside along Route 38 near Squaw Valley Road in Emlenton. Police said Hollobaugh, who suffered minor injuries, was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.
