1:22 a.m. Thursday — Pamela K. Zaborowski, 47, of Saxonburg was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after she was spotted going the wrong way through a construction detour.

2:20 a.m. Saturday — Robert Saul Jr., 21, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his vehicle ran into a cement pole at McDonald's restaurant drive-thru at the Greater Butler Mart. Police said the crash happened when Saul dozed off while waiting for his order.5:50 p.m. Friday — Kayti Reitler, 26, of Rimersburg, Clarion County, allegedly stole eight DVDs valued at $274.68 at the Wal-Mart store in Butler Commons. Reitler is charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia.5:52 p.m. Thursday — An unknown driver in a pickup struck a blue, 2007 Nissan, 350Z convertible on Route 422 at the Mercer Road construction site, and did not stop after the crash. Police, in hoping to identity the hit-and-run driver, have asked anyone who saw the crash to call police at 724-285-9600.Thursday — An orange, 2001 Honda all-terrain vehicle was reportedly stolen from a garage on Mercer Road, sometime after January or February.July 7—Two Venango County women are accused of shoplifting more than $350 in merchandise at the Wal-Mart in Butler Commons. Kathy Rose, 31, of Oil City and Ashley M. Feely, 23, of Seneca allegedly teamed up to try and make off with the 38 items that included household goods, toiletries and toys.Both women are charged with retail theft, conspiracy and receiving stolen property.

Monday — Someone over the weekend spray painted graffiti on the Fairview Township Municipal Building on Hooker Road.2:55 a.m. Sunday — Kalie Frey, 27, of Slippery Rock was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Interstate 79 in Worth Township.1:10 a.m. Saturday — Zachary David Bujak, 23, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUI at Fisher Road and Nursery Lane in Jefferson Township.Saturday — An unknown vandal drove a vehicle through a cornfield on Foxburg Road in Allegheny Township. An unspecified amount of damage was caused to the crops. The vandalism occurred between 5 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday. Anyone with information about the case if asked to call police at 724-284-8100.2:27 a.m. Friday — Michael Ray Croyle, 23, of Chicora was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Route 68 in Oakland Township.11:10 p.m. July 6 — A car driven by Ronald M. Jones, 28, of Chicora traveled over an embankment and hit a small tree and brush along Route 68 near Dusty Lane in Oakland Township. Police said Jones was cited for driving at an unsafe speed, careless driving, a lane violation and failing to immediately notify police of an accident.11:30 p.m. July 3 — Kylie Jean Hershey, 31, of Karns City was arrested for suspicion of DUI after pulling out of the Butler Fair Grounds in Franklin Township and nearly hitting a state police cruiser on Route 422.

8:40 a.m. Monday — William J. Riddle, 25, of Clintonville was arrested when he was found with a stolen 5,600-watt generator at a Coal Valley Road home in Clinton Township. Riddle was arraigned on a charge of receiving stolen property, and placed in the Venango County Jail on $10,000 bail.

Friday — An unknown burglar tried but failed to open a safe after breaking into the McDonalds restaurant on Route 208 in Springfield Township. The suspect left empty-handed.

July 7 — Someone stole prescription medication after breaking into a Shaffer Road home in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. The burglary occurred between 6 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
