2 p.m. Tuesday — A vehicle driven by Jodi L. Brennan, 33, of Cranberry Township struck a parking meter on West Jefferson street.1:19 p.m. June 30 — Thomas Edward Shaw, 45, of Butler was charged with theft of leased property and theft of services after he allegedly rented a Bosch electric jackhammer from Kenmac Rentals and Sales on May 5 and never returned it. Kenmac is seeking the cost of the jackhammer plus the accrued charges, totaling $2,853.

9:41 p.m. Wednesday — William Milbert, 22, of Butler suffered minor injuries after a tan Ford or Mercury station wagon pulled in front of the motorcycle he was riding near the Dairy Queen on New Castle Road. The car fled after the accident. The driver was a young woman, and a male passenger riding in the car was wearing a ball cap, blue jeans and a black T-shirt. Anyone with information should call police at 724-285-9600.9:15 a.m. Wednesday — Someone stole a silver 2007 Yamaha Raptor 700R ATV from the 500 block of Whitestown Road between dusk Tuesday and dawn Wednesday. Anyone with information should call police at 724-285-9600.5:37 p.m. Tuesday — Ashley Feeley, 23, of Seneca and Kathy Rose, 30, of Oil City each were charged with retail theft, conspiracy and receiving stolen property after they allegedly took $358 worth of merchandise from the Wal-Mart in Butler Commons.

1:30 p.m. Wednesday — Someone stole a silver Razor scooter valued at $50 that belonged to Kathy Barnes of Hermitage from the Grove City Memorial Park in the area of Pine Grove Circle and Ballpark Drive. The scooter has orange wheels and hand grips.
