Brennan, 33, of Cranberry Township struck a parking meter on West Jefferson street.1:19 p.m. June 30 — Thomas Edward Shaw, 45, of Butler was charged with theft of leased property and theft of services after he allegedly rented a Bosch electric jackhammer from Kenmac Rentals and Sales on May 5 and never returned it. Kenmac is seeking the cost of the jackhammer plus the accrued charges, totaling $2,853.

9:41 p.m. Wednesday — William Milbert, 22, of Butler suffered minor injuries after a tan Ford or Mercury station wagon pulled in front of the motorcycle he was riding near the Dairy Queen on New Castle Road. The car fled after the accident. The driver was a young woman, and a male passenger riding in the car was wearing a ball cap, blue jeans and a black T-shirt. 1:30 p.m. Wednesday — Someone stole a silver Razor scooter valued at $50 that belonged to Kathy Barnes of Hermitage from the Grove City Memorial Park in the area of Pine Grove Circle and Ballpark Drive. The scooter has orange wheels and hand grips.
