Wednesday — Police filed a bad check charge against Diane Rae McFeathers, 51, of Butler, who is accused of writing a $900 check May 1 on an account that did not have sufficient funds in it. The check, police said, was passed to a Butler man.Tuesday — A Portersville woman reported that someone stole a check and $200 from her vehicle on Renaissance Drive between 5 and 8 p.m. The woman said her vehicle was locked but the thief apparently forced down a window to get inside.8:06 p.m. Monday — A Butler man was hurt when he allegedly rode his bicycle through a red light and struck a car at West Cunningham and South Chestnut streets. Charles Denstitt, 18, was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for minor injuries in the crash.Shelby Kelley, 18, of Evans City was driving the car. Police said Denstitt was cited for a red light violation.5:30 p.m. Sunday — A Butler woman told police someone took her purse from a cart while shopping at Friedman's market on West Brady Street. The purse contained personal items, keys, eyeglasses and credit cards.
9:32 p.m. Tuesday — Kendra Konar, 29, of Butler was arrested for allegedly hitting her husband with a glass during a domestic dispute at their Fontana Street home. Konar was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bail.2:25 a.m. Saturday — Ashley Wild, 21, of Cranberry Township was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after making an illegal U-turn on Route 8 south of Butler. A search of her car allegedly turned up two syringes and a spoon, according to a police report.Police said that in addition to DUI, Wild faces charges of making an improper turn, not using turn signals and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Wednesday — The owner's card was the only item taken from an unlocked car that was entered at a Liberty Street home. The crime occurred between 9:30 p.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday.June 30 — Police arrested Damian Delvon Scott, 18, of New Castle for allegedly stealing an Xbox and five video games in a break-in at a Popular Street home. Scott is charged with burglary, theft and false identification to law enforcement authorities.
12:25 a.m. Wednesday — Terrance Burke, 61, of Saxonburg was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his vehicle ended up in a yard on Saxonburg Road near Patterson Road in Jefferson Township.9:05 p.m. Tuesday — Richard H. Lutz, 56, of Evans City was injured when the motorcycle he was driving hit a deer on Watters Station Road in Forward Township. Police said Lutz, who was not wearing a helmet, was flown by medical helicopter to Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh with moderate injuries.State Police, MercerJune 30 — An unknown thief stole a Grove City man's iPod from a car parked on Country Club Lane in Pine Township.
