Wednesday — An unknown thief in the past five days stole about $2,000 in fishing equipment from a boat parked at an East Fulton Street home. Stolen were two bags full of hard lures and two Hummingbird brand depth finders.Wednesday — Eddye Paschal reported that someone overnight broke into her West North Street apartment and took a 32-inch, Toshiba flat-screen television, a Toshiba potable stereo, cell phone and jewelry and about $40. The estimated value of the stolen property is $1,050.
3:53 p.m. Wednesday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Kimberly Kiser, 32, and a car driven by Harry Tebay collided on Old Plank Road near McQuistion Road. Tebay was flown by medical helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital with unknown injuries. Police said Kiser was cited for careless driving and a lane violation.11:35 a.m. Wednesday — Angela Townsend, 32, of Butler is accused of failing to ring up all her merchandise at a self-check out register at the Wal-Mart in Butler Commons. Police said she is charged with retail theft.2:13 p.m. June 24 — Michael A. Staryat Jr., 62, of Butler was charged with defiant trespass for allegedly entering property on Shady Avenue that he previously was barred from, police said.
10:47 a.m. Thursday — A car driven by Danielle L. Bottles, 24, of Greenville, Mercer County, and a pickup truck driven by Dave Kielek, 55, of Youngsville, Warren County, collided on Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township. Both drivers, who were wearing seat belts, suffered minor injuries.5:53 p.m. Wednesday — A Butler boy, who police did not identify, suffered minor injuries when his all-terrain vehicle struck a 2001 Freightliner truck on Route 308 near Route 138 in Clay Township. Police said the boy was cited for careless driving. Patrick W. Claypoole, 42, of Hilliards was driving the truck.12:30 p.m. Wednesday — A 15-year-old Cabot boy told police that an unknown man exposed himself on Marwood Road near the Star Grille Bar in Winfield Township.Police said the suspect is described as white and 35 to 40 years old. The boy said the man was in a tan vehicle. The vehicle's make and model were not known. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.2:46 p.m. Sunday — A car driven by Judith Stewart, 61, of Chicora struck a utility pole and rolled onto its roof along Hooker Road near Route 308 in Concord Township. Stewart, who was wearing a seat belt, was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for moderate injuries.
