12:42 a.m. Thursday — Three men are accused of smashing fluorescent bulbs on South Jackson Street and on the first level of the city's tier garage. Charged with disorderly conduct and scattering rubbish are John R. Robbins, 19, Raymond A. Cox, 26, and Joseph E. Aguglia, 23, all of Butler.10:08 p.m. Wednesday — Shawn D. Fennell, 31, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence after he was found slumped over in the driver's seat of a car at the Sunoco A-Plus convenience store on East Jefferson Street.Police said in addition to DUI, Fennell is charged with driving with a suspended license and retail theft for allegedly swiping two pieces of sausage at the A-Plus store.1:40 a.m. Monday — Orren P. Doerr, 23, of Butler was arrested for DUI on Pepper Street. Police said Doerr also was cited for careless driving.Butler Twp PoliceWednesday — Police filed theft-related charges against a Butler couple in connection with the theft of a purse Sunday night at Mama Rosa's restaurant on Old Plank Road. Police found the suspects at their apartment and recovered the purse.Charged with conspiracy to commit theft and receiving stolen property are Tina Marie Davies, 24, and Christopher J. Nunez, 23. Davies also is charged with theft and possession of a small amount of marijuana.11 a.m. Tuesday — A 15-year-old boy is accused of starting a fight with a 16-year-old boy in the lunch room at the Butler Intermediate High School. The older boy suffered a minor injury. The 15-year-old, who police did not identify, is charged with simple assault and harassment.

Wednesday — A 9 mm Baby Desert Eagle pistol was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the driveway of an Overbrook Road home. The gun had an unloaded magazine in it.Tuesday — A small amount of coins was stolen in a burglary reported at the Mystic Lanes Bowling Alley on Route 8. The unknown burglar forced open a double door and broke a padlock hasp to get inside.
