Burr 50th anniversary
Jerry and Louise Burr of Zelienople will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a trip to Branson, Mo.
Burr married the former Louise Currie on June 12, 1959, at Harmony Baptist Church in New Castle.
They have two children, Cindy Speck of Zelienople and Sandi Everett of Harmony. They also have six grandchildren.
Burr is a dairy farmer and owns Personal Driving Service. He has volunteered on several boards including the Salvation Army, Southwest Butler County Food Cupboard and Community Chest.
Mrs. Burr, a homemaker, serves on the board of Meals on Wheels and the Salvation Army.
The Burrs belong to Grace Church of Harmony where Burr serves as an elder, a 59-year choir member and a Sunday school officer. Mrs. Burr has taught Sunday school for 44 years and works in the women's ministry.
