7:09 p.m. Sunday Police arrested a Butler man wanted for possession of a small amount of marijuana after responding to a disorderly conduct call to the intersection of South Chestnut and Race streets. Daniel Patrick Sybert, 23, also was charged with disorderly conduct resulting from an altercation with Raymond W. Priester, 41, also of Butler. Priester also was charged with disorderly conduct. Both sides gave conflicting accounts of who started the fight. Sybert was released on his own recognizance.9:12 p.m. Friday Trimayne Keavon Franklin, 22, of Butler was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Armstrong County following a traffic stop on West Jefferson Street. The driver of the vehicle, Kathy Marie, 26, of Butler received a written warning.
Sunday Police are investigating multiple burglaries and thefts that occurred during the weekend at various residences along Chicora Road, St. Joe Road and Oakland Drive in Oakland Township. The one or more thieves who entered unlocked garages and vehicles stole numerous items including cash, iPods, cell phones and navigation systems. Anyone with information about the thefts should call police at 724-284-8100.12:30 a.m. Sunday An ATV driven by Gary Tichansky, 24, of Chicora hit a stop sign on West Slippery Rock Road in Fairview Township. He was not injured.3:30 p.m. Saturday Sonny Samuel Coulter, 37, of Boyers was charged with terroristic threats and simple assault after allegedly assaulting a 44-year-old woman, who police did not identify, at 101 Rock Hill Lane in Cherry Township. Coulter was later committed to Butler Memorial Hospital for mental health issues.Saturday The mailboxes at the residences of Kenneth Edinboro and Kimberly Criley on Portman Road in Summit Township were damaged between 10:20 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday. Anyone with information about the incident should call police at 724-284-8100.9:10 p.m. Friday David Coleman, 41, of Erie was charged with simple assault and harassment after a domestic altercation between Coleman and Tammy Ealy, 40, of Parker occurred at 219 N. Ash Ave. in Parker City in Armstrong County.4:34 p.m. Friday A vehicle driven by James Madasz Jr., 39, of Sarver struck the rear of a pickup truck driven by Gary Fischer, 43, of Saxonburg on Route 228 in Clinton Township when the truck slowed to make a right turn.3:21 a.m. Friday Brady Morgan, 20, of Petrolia was charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Brady Street in Butler.9:34 a.m. Friday A car driven by Caitlin Imhoff, 17, of Saxonburg hit an embankment along a wet Sarver Road in Clinton Township. Imhoff, who was wearing a seat belt, received minor injuries. She was cited for driving too fast for conditions.1:31 a.m. Friday A car driven by Hope Johns, 66, of Templeton hit a tire laying on Route 422 in Franklin Township. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Saturday Eric Rosensteel of Worthington reported various items stolen from his camp site along Yellow Dog Road in West Franklin Township while he was gone between 7:30 p.m. Friday and 2:20 a.m. Saturday. The following items were stolen: two day beds, two blue and gray folding chairs, a Coleman lantern, three sleeping bags and two fleece blankets.5:28 p.m. Friday Ronald Harkless, 48, of Kittanning was charged with driving under the influence, speeding, having an open container of alcohol and not wearing a seat belt following a traffic stop on Route 422 in West Franklin Township.
8 a.m. Friday A vehicle driven by Philip Hoffman, 23, of Grove City struck a pickup truck driven by Michael Morgan, 20, of Boyers on Route 58 in Findley Township during a rainstorm. The impact sent each vehicle to the opposite side of the road. Hoffman was cited for a traffic violation.
