Janet Marie Cain, 69, of Butler passed away at 6:20 a.m. Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 11, 1939, in Butler, the daughter of the late Charles Paul Beck and the late Dorothy (Vogel) Beck.

Janet was a member of the Faith Fellowship Alliance Church.

She enjoyed playing bingo, making Christmas shoeboxes and collecting Beanie Babies.

Surviving are her husband, Rodger Duane Cain of Butler, who she married March 7, 1959; four daughters, Mrs. Richard (Deborah) Shurgot of Van, Texas, Janet Berry of Las Vegas, Nev., Mrs. Jeff (Julia) Stowers of Butler and Mrs. Matthew (Susan) Setting of Cranberry, Venango County; 23 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; two sisters, Carol James of Texas and Eleanor Carver of Oklahoma; and a brother, Carl A. Beck of Butler.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, David P. Beck.

<B>CAIN</B> — Friends of Janet Marie Cain, who died Tuesday, March 24, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with her pastor, the Rev. Richard Jenks, officiating.
