John W. 'Jack' Wilson
John W. "Jack" Wilson, 72, of 503 Country View Road, Slippery Rock, died Saturday evening at Jameson Hospital, New Castle.
Born June 20, 1936, in Wampum, he was the son of Herbert Earl Wilson and Enid Davis.
He married Marian F. McCormick, Sept. 11, 1974. She survives at home.
He was the owner/operator of Wilson Farm Repair for the past 16 years. He formerly worked for Riley Equipment for 35 years, and he had been employed by Penn Power from 1950 to 1962.
A 1954 graduate of the former East Lawrence High School, he served in the Army from Jan. 24, 1955, to Oct. 23, 1957, with Army security in Hawaii.
Mr. Wilson enjoyed repairing John Deere tractors and buying and refurbishing antique tractors.
He was a lifelong farmer. He served 30 years as a member of the Laurel School Board and was a member of the Eastbrook Presbyterian Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Amber D. Wilson at home; a son, John P. "JP" Wilson at home; a brother, David Wilson of New Castle; and a sister, Ruth Hermens of Bend, Ore.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Richard A. Wilson and infant James Herbert Wilson.

Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home & Crematory,</B> 111 W. Falls St., New Castle. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jason E. Schepp, of the Eastbrook Presbyterian Church, officiating.
