These items have been collected from various police departments.

1 p.m. Sunday Tina Marie Davies, 23, of Butler Township was caught allegedly shoplifting and carrying a suspected Oxycodone pill without a prescription at the Kmart store in Pullman Square. Police said they found $84 worth of store items in Davies' purse. She faces charges of possession of a controlled substance and retail theft.2:15 p.m. Saturday Gregory P. Mazzanti, 26, of Butler is charged with felony retail theft for allegedly stealing a pair of $30 work boots from the Pullman Square Kmart store. Mazzanti has two prior convictions for retail theft.Police caught Mazzanti wearing the boots at the Family Dollar store in the same shopping center. Police said Mazzanti apparently had been drinking. In addition to retail theft, police cited the suspect for trespass.

Monday Police reported they are investigating numerous report of thefts and vandalism to vehicles during the past few weeks. Most of the targeted vehicles, which have been unlocked, have been in the Meridian area.Police remind residents to lock their vehicles and to leave lit motion or dusk-to-dawn lights. Residents also are advised to keep an eye out for any suspicious activity. If anything looks suspicious, immediately call 911.2:25 a.m. Sunday Kenneth Flohr, 22, of Evans City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after a pair of crashes in the Days Inn parking lot on Route 8 South.In addition to DUI, Flohr is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, careless driving and driving without insurance.8:22 a.m. Friday Justin Scheehle, 21, of Butler is accused of assaulting a 31-year-old Butler woman during a domestic dispute in a vehicle on the side of New Castle Road in front of Butler Commons.A passing motorist called 911 to report a man beating a woman The alleged victim was able to drive herself to Butler Memorial Hospital, where she was treated for injuries and released. Scheehle is charged with simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief.9:20 p.m. Thursday Shawn C. Bowman, 39, of Saxonburg was arrested for DUI on Bessemer Avenue. Bowman also charged Bowman with careless driving and three other traffic violations.

5:05 p.m. Monday Amy J. Grossman, 39, of Boyers lost control of her sport utility vehicle and struck a group of trees along Branchton Road in Cherry Township.1:15 a.m. Sunday Timothy P. Butler, 39, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at a sobriety checkpoint on Route 356 in Butler Township.Sunday An unknown thief stole about $44 in clothing from an unlocked vehicle on Eagle Mill Road in Connoquenessing Township. The theft occurred between 12:30 and 12:45 a.m.12:45 a.m. Saturday Joshua A. Fisher, 26, of Emlenton was hurt when he lost control of his car, traveled up an embankment and struck a small railroad tie wall along Route 268 in Hovey Township, Armstrong County. The car continued along the embankment and hit a cement culvert.Police said Fisher, who suffered minor injuries, was cited for driving too fast for conditions.Thursday Police suspect a family member between April 12 and Thursday stole $550 from the bedroom of a 73-year-old man's home on Pfeifer Road in Muddy Creek Township. Investigators did not identify the suspect.March 29 Kristen Nicole Leroy, 23, of Cabot is accused of stealing $500 from Les Paul Bauer's Herman Road home in Summit Township. Police said Leroy, who was at the home for a child's birthday party, faces theft charges.

10 a.m. Saturday An unidentified grave marker was found off Henry Road in Toby Township. An individual came across the headstone while cleaning garbage along the road.Police said the only markings on the marker are the letters M and S. Anyone with information about the headstone is asked to call the barracks at 814-226-1710.
