1:19 a.m. Thursday An unknown rock thrower broke a large window in front of the Rent-A-Center store in Pullman Square. The damage is estimated at $1,000.7:31 a.m. Wednesday Raymont Cathie, 28, of Pittsburgh was arrested for allegedly assaulting Kristin Tate of Butler, following a domestic dispute outside a city home. Cathie is charged with simple assault, harassment and possession of a small amount of marijuana.2:54 a.m. Sunday Richard Riegger, 37, of Prospect is accused of assaulting his girlfriend's two sons, ages 11 and 15, during a domestic dispute at a city home. Riegger is charged with two counts of simple assault and disorderly conduct.
2:53 p.m. Wednesday Lauren Cipolleti, 18, of Butler was cited for driving at an unsafe speed after she failed to stop her car in time on New Castle Road near the AutoZone store, hitting a car driven by Jose Bonilla-Cumba, 19, of Butler.The impact pushed Bonilla-Cumba's car into a car driven by Patrick Wellner, 18, from Butler. Two passengers in Bonilla-Cumba's car suffered minor injuries but refused treatment.1:33 a.m. April 4 Joseph Ostrander, 23, of Weston, W.Va., was chased by security in Frisco's Lounge at the Butler Days Inn on Route 8, after he allegedly shoved someone.Police said Weston ran and jumped over a banister, hitting the sneeze guard on a prep table. The sneeze guard crashed to the floor and broke. Weston was cited for criminal mischief.
2:30 a.m. today Donald Leo Scherer, 33, of Chicora was arrested for allegedly assaulting Arica Lynnlee Davis, 21, of Chicora during a domestic dispute on Rabbitt Road in Donegal Township. Scherer was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bail.1:09 a.m. Thursday Christopher Pietron, 25, of Greensburg, Westmoreland County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Harbison Road in Buffalo Township.3:20 a.m. Wednesday Andrew William Ealy, 29, was arrested for allegedly assaulting Mitzy Lasher during a domestic dispute at his Medical Center Road home in Chicora.Police said when Lasher's brother, Nolan Davis, came to her aid, the defendant punched and kicked him in the head. Davis went into a seizure and was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital.District Judge Lewis Stoughton arraigned Ealy on two counts each of simple assault and harassment, and ordered him placed in the Butler County Prison on $10,000 bail.
April 6 An unknown thief between April 3 and 6 stole several pieces of metal from an undisclosed construction site in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County.
