2:21 a.m. today Jason Adam Everly, 30, of Chicora was arrested for driving under the influence on East Jefferson Street. Police said Everly also was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with an invalid inspection.11:21 p.m. Wednesday A bag containing various medical supplies was found at East Locust and Franklin streets. The owner can claim the property at the police station at 200 W. New Castle Street.

Thursday Police reported that Annmarie Gianfrancesco, 37, of Saxonburg faces drunken driving and other charges stemming from a March 22 crash on Route 8 near Zanotti's Motorcycles.Police said Gianfrancesco was driving a minivan that struck a guardrail, crossed five lanes of traffic and went over a curb. The SUV continued up an embankment and hit a tree.Gianfrancesco and her 8-year-old son riding in the vehicle suffered minor injuries. In addition to driving under the influence, she is charged with child endangerment, reckless endangerment and other traffic violations.8:32 a.m. Wednesday Vehicles driven by Catherine Baxter, 44, of Callery and Kelli Macher, 26, of Cranberry Township collided at New Castle and Evans City roads.11:18 p.m. Tuesday Crystal Buckley, 23, of Lyndora is accused of stealing her mother's bank debit card and using it at Wal-Mart in Butler Commons and at the Armco Credit Union automated teller machine.

12:40 a.m. Thursday A sport utility vehicle driven by Jo Anne Kuhn, 42, of New Castle struck a deer on Route 19 in Lancaster Township.9:45 p.m. Wednesday Kenneth Leroy Purvis Jr., 41, of Harrisville was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Routes 8 and 108 in Slippery Rock Township.3:06 p.m. Wednesday A car driven by Abbi Cochran, 18, of Hilliards and a pickup driven by Jeffery B. Burns, 53, of Butler collided at Route 38 and Glenwood Way in Center Township. Police said Cochran was cited for a stop sign violation.

9:50 p.m. Wednesday A sport utility vehicle driven by William Broskin, 29, of Zelienople struck a deer on Interstate 79 in Springfield Township.
