7:35 a.m. Thursday A minivan driven by Justin Hevesy, 18, of Butler struck a utility pole on North McKean Street.2:04 a.m. Thursday Ivan Cumba, 37, was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, Crystal R. Scott, 23, of Butler during a domestic dispute at his Pillow Street home. Cumba was arraigned on a charge of simple assault, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $2,000 bail.7:56 a.m. March 21 Cars driven by Joanne Morrow, 78, of Butler Township and Edward Weichey, 52, of East Butler collided at Jefferson and McKean streets. Weichey suffered minor injuries.

Wednesday An unknown burglar stole a 47-inch, Phillips LCD high-definition television and an Xbox video game system after breaking into a Nursery Road home in Forward Township. The burglary occurred between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.Tuesday A 40-inch, Sony Bravia high-definition TV and numerous pieces of jewelry and silverware were stolen in a burglary between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at a house on McCandless Road in Center Township.

Thursday An unknown burglar used an unlocked front door to get inside a Toby Township home and steal three handguns. The firearms a .22-caliber Ruger, .44-caliber Ruger and .35-caliber Remington were taken from a gun cabinet at the Huey Road home.4:10 p.m. March 17 A sport utility vehicle driven by a Sligo boy crashed into an embankment and overturned on Morris Road in Toby Township. A 16-year-old Rimersburg girl in the vehicle was taken to Clarion Hospital with minor injuries. The driver, who police did not identify, was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
