5:10 p.m. Tuesday While traveling on Whitestown Road, Deeanna Marie Durnell, 18, of North Road struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Cynthia D. Lawson, 49, of Butler. The collision pushed Lawson's vehicle into the rear of a vehicle driven by Stephen Santroni, 64, of Butler Township. Durnell was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.7 a.m. Tuesday Someone took construction tools and tried to steal a construction vehicle from a fenced-in area behind Power Up Equipment on Evans City Road. Four tractor tires were taken as well as drills, saws, and equipment. A vehicle was driven through a fence and became stuck in a field.March 13 Tiffany Mullen, 20, of Butler was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft, and receiving stolen property in connection with a burglary in the 200 block of Evans City Road.

3:19 a.m. Saturday Jason Lee Roberts, 22, of Butler is accused of struggling with officers outside an East Jefferson Street convenience store. Police were there to take a complaint from Roberts' roommate, who claimed the suspect "beat him up" at their city apartment, court documents said.Roberts was allegedly intoxicated when he showed up looking for his roommate. When police tried to arrest him, Roberts "attempted to pull away" from officers, documents said. He continued to resist and refused to put his hands behind his back.Roberts is charged with resisting arrest, harassment and public drunkenness.
