9:51 a.m. Friday — A car driven by Lindsay K. Kleeman, 24, of Butler and a tractor-trailer driven by Jeffrey L. Rindfuss, 48, of Waterford collided at the intersection of Mercer and Wick streets. Kleeman, her passenger Ayden Zarnick of Butler, as well as Rindfuss and his passenger, Alan Barkman of Cambridge Springs, were not injured.4:20 p.m. Thursday — John Victor Coury, 39, of Pittsburgh was charged with retail theft after he allegedly took $35 worth of merchandise from the shelves at Rite-Aid, then tried to return it, claiming he had lost his receipt.

5:31 p.m. Thursday — Jonathan Keith Maker, 43, of Butler was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness after employees at Woodforest National Bank in Wal-Mart observed him acting strangely.11:52 a.m. Thursday — A car driven by Jerrold Spangler, 45, of Kittanning and a pickup truck driven by Kevin Dunkle, 34, of East Brady collided on Route 422. No one was injured.4 p.m. March 20 — Moneke Thomas, 21, of Slippery Rock was charged with trespassing after he was seen inside Wal-Mart after being told by security not to return.

8 a.m. Friday — Someone stole a chainsaw-carved statue of two bear cubs and a tree from the driveway of Errera’s Towing along Route 8 in Center Township between 7 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.11:32 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Adam R. Took, 19, of Butler struck a deer along Route 488 near Shadow Lane in Franklin Township. Took and passenger Jessica A. Epps, 23, of Prospect were not injured. Took was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
