5:56 p.m. Sunday — Police are investigating a crash on Route 8 near Zanotti's Motorcycles involving aminivan driven by Annmarie Gianfrancesco, 37, of Saxonburg. Police believe there also was a second vehicle involved; anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-285-9600.5 p.m. Sunday — Chad Zinkhann, 32, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his motorcycle crashed on Route 422 at the Lyndora exit. Zinkhann was thrown off the cycle and was injured, but declined treatment at the hospital.8:49 p.m. Saturday — Braden Yartz, 51, of Lyndora was arrested for suspicion of DUI on South Sixth Avenue. Police said Yartz also was cited for not using turn signals.1:30 p.m. Friday — Gina Marie Slupe, 45, of Fenelton is charged with felony retail theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly shoplifting at the GiantEagle store in Moraine Pointe Plaza.8:45 a.m. March 13 — An 82-year-old man is accused of "keying" a car parked at the Wal-Mart parking lot in Butler Commons. Paul Schneider of Butler is charged with criminal mischief in the case. The car sustained more than $1,200 in damages.

Monday — Daniel Robert Hilliard, 19, of Slippery Rock was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 8 at the North Main Street Church of God in Butler Township.Monday — Elaine Heitzer reported that someone between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. cut down four trees on her property on Deer Creek Road in Clinton Township. The damages were estimated at $75.6:45 p.m. Sunday — Acar driven by a 16-year-old Allegheny County girl crashed into a set of mailboxes before hitting an embankment and utility pole along McKay Road in Clinton Township.Mary J. Kenyon, 18, of Valencia, a passenger in the car, was treated at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh for minor injuries. The girl, from Glenshaw, who police did not further identify, was cited for driving too fast for conditions.2:34 a.m. Sunday — Matthew Alan Sloan, 21, of West Sunbury was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Helga Drive in Clay Township.2:30 a.m. Sunday — Kelly M.Wolfe, 23, of Slippery Rock was arrested for suspicion of DUI on East Slippery Rock Street in Chicora.1 a.m. Sunday — Walter Kradel, 28, of Butler was arrested for allegedly assaulting a 16-year-old boy during a domestic dispute at a Palmer Road home in Center Township. He faces a charge of simple assault.Friday — An unknown thief between March 16 and Friday took unspecified items from a vehicle on Meadowbrook Drive in Center Township.

Monday — Craig Kinder reported that someone stole a Mercury 9.9-horsepower outboard motor from the rear of his boat that was behind his Barkeyville Road home in Pine Township. The theft occurred between 7 a.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Monday.2:29 p.m. Sunday — Three people were hurt when a car driven by Patricia A. Surrena, 73, of Grove City and a pickup truck driven by Carl L. Ealy, 32, of New Wilmington collided on Route 19 near New Castle-Mercer Road in East Lackawannock Township.Both drivers and Carrie Guyer, 27, of New Wilmington, a passenger in the truck, were at Grove City Medical Center to be treated for minor injuries. Police said Surrena was cited for following too closely to another vehicle.3:02 a.m. Sunday — Anthony Robert Murphy, 33, of Slippery Rock was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after he was stopped for speeding on Interstate 79 in Liberty Township. Troopers found two children in the back seat of Murphy's vehicle.Police said Murphy, in addition to DUI, faces charges of possession of a controlled substance and reckless endangerment.
