Ivan "Jack" Allshouse

Ivan "Jack" Allshouse of Butler is celebrating his 90th birthday today.

Allshouse was born March 24, 1919, in Ramseytown. He married Hilma Nale Feb. 6, 1942, in Clarion. She is deceased.

He has two children, Linda Neyman of Butler and Keith Allshouse of Raleigh, N.C., formerly of Butler.

He also has four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Allshouse worked as a math teacher for the Moniteau School District and retired in 1976. He belongs to North Main Street Church of God and is a Keenagers Sunday school class member and a former trustee. He enjoyed hunting, going to church, gardening and helping others.
