10:45 p.m. Sunday — Joseph A. Rock, 24, of East Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on New Castle Road.12:43 p.m. Sunday — Vehicles driven by Melissa Ann Schiebel, 17, of Butler Township and Joshua D. Cumberland, 18, of Renfrew collided on Whitestown Avenue at Picklegate Crossing. Police said Schiebel was cited for failing to obey a traffic control device.Sunday — An unknown vandal or vandals pelted several vehicles in the Lyndora area with eggs between 11:30 p.m. Saturday and 12:45 a.m. Sunday.11:08 p.m. Saturday — A 16-year-old boy is accused of throwing a rock at a car on Kohler Avenue. Police said the boy, who they did not identify, was cited for criminal mischief.Saturday — Vehicles driven by William R, Boserman, 52, of Martinsburg, W.Va., and John Sherman, 50, of Fenelton collided on New Castle Road in front of the Sheetz store. Florence Early, 74, no address given, a passenger in Boserman’s truck, suffered minor injuries.6:54 p.m. Friday — Candace Walker, 26, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Route 8 South.
10:38 p.m. Friday — A call for a loud party at the Stone Crest Apartments on East Cornish Drive led to 47 people being cited for alcohol-related violations.State Police, FranklinMonday — A camcorder, drill and assorted tools were stolen in a burglary at an Old Mill Road home in Scrubgrass Township.
2:15 a.m. Sunday — Lonny Douglas Riggs, 40, of Mercer was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Route 19 and Creek Road in Springfield Township.5:30 p.m. Friday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Stephen G. Becker, 49, of Clarks Mills struck a mailbox and tree before overturning on Route 173 in Worth Township. Police said Becker, who was wearing a seat belt and suffered a minor injury, was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
