3:43 p.m. Friday — A car owned by Timothy David Edinger of Butler and a Jeep owned by Jared Starr of Butler collided when both were parked on Cedar Street near East Penn Street, but Edinger's car had not been properly secured and drifted into the Jeep, police said. Edinger's car was later found to be without valid registration and was towed.1:35 a.m. Friday — James W.G. Barnett, 38, of Chicora was charged with theft of services after his truck was towed by Thomas Fisher of Butler and he allegedly failed to pay the bill after picking up the truck.10:53 p.m. Friday — Matthew S. Myers, 28, of Butler was charged with two counts of bad checks after he allegedly wrote checks of $32.67 and $18.52 to Friedman's from an account with insufficient funds, then ignored requests to produce the money.Friday — Candis Lynn Berlstein, 18, of Butler was charged with careless driving following a collision with another car at the intersection of Brady and Chestnut streets that caused her car to end up in the yard of 330 W. Brady St. Berlstein, The driver of the other car was Raymond Atkinson of Renfrew.Friday — A car owned by April S. Schuler was struck by a hit-and-run driver while it was parked along East Jefferson Street near Carbon Street.10:48 p.m. Thursday — Lisa Ann Hays, 42, of Chicora was charged with bad checks after she allegedly wrote a $42.51 check to Friedman's from an account with insufficient funds, then ignored requests to produce the money.7:45 a.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Machan Pavelek, 56, of Butler struck the curb at the intersection of West Cunningham and Pillow streets, causing the car's air bag to deploy. Pavelek was not injured.2 p.m. Feb. 12 — Dezeray Lynn Angerette, 24, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence — incapable of safe driving, driving under the influence of a controlled substance and careless driving following a traffic stop on New Castle Street. Police charged her after receiving a blood chemistry report.

11:59 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by David M. Frank, 27, of Pittsburgh crashed into an embankment and rolled over on Route 28 near the Glade Run overpass in North Buffalo Township. Frank was not injured.State Police, Franklin5:45 p.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by Richard J. Claypoole II of Oil City and a vehicle driven by Jean Marie Vivino of West Hazelton collided on Route 8 in Barkeyville.
