Paul W. "Pete" Knauff of Evans City passed away Thursday at UPMC Passavant Hospital.

Born in Harmony, he was the son of the late Edward G. and Ella Mae (Wise) Knauff.

He is survived by his wife, Christine M. Knauff; a son, Paul "Pete" Knauff and his wife, Kathy, of Geneva, Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. John (Patty) Alleman of Halifax, Pa.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Bruce (Linda) Vogel of Mars and Mrs. Nathan (Jodi) Hall of Evans City; five grandchildren; one step-grandson; and a sister, Helen Clouse of Zelienople.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy (Nickle) Knauff; and a brother, Edward H. Knauff.
