1:28 a.m. Sunday — Acar driven by Kasey Dee Fritz, 27, of Butler crashed at Tacoma and Hettie avenues after sliding off the road, going over a small hill and hitting a wooden fence at a vacant home.

8:32 p.m. Sunday — Nathan Leonard, 24, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence after his pickup truck crashed while trying to pass a car on snow-covered Route 422 near the Benbrook overpass.Police said Leonard's pickup hit a car driven by Jonathon Carothers, 40, of Laporte, Ind. Police noted that Carothers formerly lived in the Butler area.The collision spun Carothers' car around and into a Jersey barrier. The pickup struck an embankment, rolled over and landed on its wheels.Police said Leonard after allegedly causing the crash argued with and pushed Carothers.In addition to DUI, Leonard is charged with harassment, driving too fast for conditions, careless driving and a lane violation.10:43 a.m. Sunday — Nicholas Frabotta Jr., 33, of New Wilmington, Mercer County, is accused of switching the bar codes on items at Home Depot in the Moraine Pointe Plaza, and buying them at under retail value. Frabotta is charged with two counts of retail theft as well as receiving stolen property.11:13 p.m. Saturday — Acar driven by a 16-year-old Butler boy slid across snow-covered Mercer Road and struck a retaining wall owned by Richard Dumbaugh. Police did not identify the driver.11:37 a.m. Saturday — Vehicles driven by Donald Pastorious, 53, of East Butler and Dorothy Ray, 59, of Butler collided at Routes 356 and 422. Pastorious and a passenger in his vehicle suffered minor injuries.1 a.m. Saturday — Acar driven by Chad Salem, 31, of New Brighton, Beaver County, became damaged on McCalmont Road while attempting to cross the Buffalo and Pittsburgh Railroad tracks. The car got hung up on the track and police had to shut down a train leaving AK Steel until the vehicle was towed away.7:45 a.m. Thursday — Avehicle driven by Kaylaa Chupka, 21, of Butler crashed into a concrete barrier and utility pole along snow-covered Route 8 South near the Armco exit.

5:30 p.m. Sunday — Apickup truck driven by Richard W. Johnstone, 54, of Butler hit a rock and a mailbox along snow-covered Route 68 near the Grant Avenue exit in Oakland Township. Police said Johnstone was not wearing a seat belt and suffered a minor injury.5:14 p.m. Sunday — Asport utility vehicle driven by Pamela E. Felix, 58, of Forestville crashed into a utility pole at Route 8 and Station Road in Mercer Township.4:40 p.m. Sunday — Aminivan driven by Kimberly B. Johnston, 17, of Harrisville and a car driven by Rachel R. Baker, 17, of Franklin, Venango County, collided at Route 8 and Kern Lane in Harrisville. Baker, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered a minor injury.Police said Johnston was cited for entering the road before it was safe to do so.2:05 p.m. Sunday — An SUV driven by Dawn Watson, 24, of West Sunbury struck a ditch, rolled over and landed on its wheels on Hooker Road near Route 308 in Clay Township. Police said Watson, who was wearing a seat belt and suffered moderate injuries, was cited for a lane violation.4:25 a.m. Sunday — Phillip Seth, 26, of Bellevue, Allegheny County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after he tried to pass another vehicle on Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township.Seth's vehicle struck the other vehicle driven by Stephen Magann, 54, of Ontario, Canada, traveled off the road and rolled onto its side. In addition to DUI, he faces other traffic violations in the crash, police said.Saturday — Someone stole an aluminum gate at 120 Cherry Road in Fairview Township. Ronald G. Claypool of Butler owns the property that was stolen between Wednesday and Saturday.Feb. 13 — An unknown thief between Feb. 1 and 13 stole a digital camera from the Petrolia fire station on Jamison Street in Petrolia.State Police, Kittanning10:10 a.m. Sunday—No one was injured when a car driven by Barry C. Vasbinder, 51, of Rimersburg, Clarion County and a snow plow driven by Robert E. Crissman, 51, of Kittanning collided on ice-covered Deer Run Road in East Franklin Township.
