Ruth M. Burger
Ruth M. Burger, 93, formerly of Glenshaw, now of the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, died at 7:55 p.m. Monday at Sunnyview.
Born in Chicago, Ill., March 21, 1915, she was the daughter of the late John T. Schmidt and the late Ada Bigley Schmidt.
Mrs. Burger was a Lutheran.
She had been a legal secretary in the Pittsburgh area.
Mrs. Burger previously had been active in the Glenshaw community. She was a former member of the Glenshaw Century Club, the Garden Club and the Book Club.
Mrs. Burger is survived by two sons, John H. Burger and his wife, Susan Burger, of Butler and Charles W. Burger of San Jose, Calif.; seven grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; and one nephew, Robert Schmidt of Homer Glenn, Ill.
Mrs. Burger was preceded in death by her husband, Henry A. Burger, who died July 16, 1981; one daughter, Joan Burger; and one brother, Oscar Schmidt.

North St. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Brian Swan, Asera Care Hospice chaplain, officiating.
