Jan. 25 — Shannon Lynn Larimore, 26, of Butler was charged with five counts of bad checks after she allegedly passed three checks totaling $528.86 to Friedman's and two checks totaling $68.85 to Robert's Bakery, all from a closed account, between Dec. 24 and Jan. 25.Jan. 11 — Benjamin A. Oesterling, 21, of Butler was charged with bad checks after he allegedly passed a $46.64 check at Friedman's from a closed account.Nov. 22 — Ronald E. Micco, 43, of Butler was charged with bad checks after he allegedly passed a $118.47 check at Friedman's from a closed account.Oct. 28 — Sandra Lee Smith, 67, of Butler was charged with bad checks after she allegedly passed a $54.52 check at Friedman's from an account with insufficient funds.July 6 — Sabrina M. Oleath, 25, of Lyndora was charged with three counts of bad checks after she allegedly passed three checks totaling $330.38 at Friedman's between June 29 and July 6 of last year, all from a closed account.

11:05 a.m. Thursday — A pickup truck driven by Jason A. Henderson, 38, of Hermitage and a car driven by Thomas P. Morgan Jr., 57, of Portersville collided on Route 19 near Hunt Road in Slippery Rock Township. Henderson and Thomas Morgan were not injured, but Diane L. Morgan, 53, of Portersville, a passenger in Thomas Morgan's car, suffered a minor injury. Henderson was cited for driving too fast for conditions.

1:30 a.m. Saturday — Kasey Schnur, 19, of West Sunbury was charged with driving under the influence after the car he was driving crashed into an embankment along Halston Road near Sunbury Road in Clay Township. Schnur suffered minor injuries and his passenger, Richard Best, 19, of West Sunbury, suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital. Neither person was wearing a seat belt.12:25 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Dawn M. Carben, 36, of Butler crashed into a utility pole along Route 68 near Grant Avenue Extension in Oakland Township. Carben, who was not injured, was cited for driving too fast for conditions.1:30 a.m. Friday — A car driven by Joseph J. Gall, 23, of Pittsburgh crashed into a ditch along Route 108 in Slippery Rock Township. Gall and his passenger, Alan R. Frawley, 27, of Verona, were not injured. Gall was cited for failing to notify police of an accident and driving at unsafe speed.5:52 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Aaron M. Johns, 41, of Butler crashed into a tree along Westminster Road in Clinton Township. Johns was not injured.8:40 a.m. Thursday — An SUVdriven by Danielle M. Weisenstein, 40, of Portersville crashed into an embankment and rolled onto its roof on Route 422 near McConnell Drive in Franklin Township. Weisenstein suffered a minor injury but two toddlers in the vehicle were uninjured.8:40 a.m. Thursday — A car driven by Robert F. Shriver, 53, of Zelienople crashed into a guardrail on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township. Shriver, who was uninjured, was cited for driving too fast for conditions.7:45 a.m. Thursday — An SUVdriven by Agnes L. Brehm 70, of Chicora and an SUVdriven by James T. Sasse, 43, of Chicora collided on Wyland Road in Concord Township. Brehm suffered a minor injury.12:04 a.m. Feb. 14 — Calib John Newman, 23, of Slippery Rock was charged with driving under the influence after he allegedly narrowly missed sideswiping a police cruiser on Hall Road in Brady Township.
