Milbert

Herbert R. Milbert, 76, of Prospect, formerly of Cranberry Township, died Saturday.

Born May 1, 1932, in Mars, he was the son of the late Richard and Louise (Fischer) Milbert.

In 1965, Mr. Milbert opened Milbert's Gulf Station in Cranberry Township that went on to become Milbert's Car Care.

He was a founding member of the St. Ferdinand Roman Catholic Church and a member of Cranberry Elks Lodge 2249, the North Side Sportsmen's Association and the Mars Rod & Gun Club.

Mr. Milbert enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanora (Boydell) Milbert, who he married June 18, 1955; six children, Richard Milbert and his wife, Rose Ann, of Economy, Bruce Milbert and his wife, Linda, of Wexford, Denise Meyerl and her husband, Ted, of Zelienople, Michael Milbert and his wife, Marta, of Butler, Lisa Pale and her husband, Rob, of Prospect, and Mark Milbert and his wife, Suzanne, of New Brighton; two brothers, William Milbert and his wife, Marie, of Cranberry Township and Paul Milbert and his wife, Judy, of Valencia; and two sisters, Esther Dietrick of Cheswick and Kathleen Steeb of Zelienople. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence and Ralph Milbert; and a sister, Roseann Poliganno.
