3:02 p.m. Monday — A van driven by William Mottern, 61, of Boyers and a car driven by Edward Minto Jr., 39, of Butler collided at East Jefferson and Second streets.2:55 p.m. Feb. 9 — A 13-year-old student is accused of making a bomb threat at the Butler Area High School. The youth, who police did not identify, is charged with threatening to use a weapon of mass destruction, terroristic threats and disorderly conduct.

7:30 a.m. Monday — A car driven by Kim S. Reiber, 23, of Portersville crashed into a cement barrier on the Route 488 on-ramp to Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township. The car spun around and hit a guardrail. Police said Reiber was cited for driving too fast for conditions.11:45 p.m. Saturday — Matthew Brown, 29, and William Ealy, 28, both of Karns City, are accused of fighting one another on Main Street in Karns City. Police said both men are charged with simple assault and harassment.Saturday — An unknown thief stole the Pennsylvania license plate DSD5568 from a vehicle at a North Main Street home in Chicora. The theft occurred between 11 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Saturday.

2:40 p.m. Sunday — A car driven by Walter J. Kilgore, 58, of Worthington crashed into an embankment and ditch along Bear Street in West Franklin Township. Police said Kilgore was cited for a lane violation.
