Charles Carlson

Charles Carlson of Saxonburg celebrated his 80th birthday Feb. 7 with a family dinner at the J-Barn in Sarver.

Carlson was born Feb. 6, 1929, in DuBois. He married Dorothy Carlson June 4, 1950, in DuBois.

He has two children, Ellen Shields of DuBois and Danny Carlson of Butler, plus two adopted daughters, Nikki Ellenberger and Judy O'Donnell. He also has one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

He is retired from Wise Machine Company and belongs to Community Alliance Church.
