The University of Findlay in Ohio awarded merit scholarships and endowed scholarships for the 2008-09 academic year.

Scholarships were given to the following local students:

Kara Hochevar of Ambridge,

Jessica Kummer of Renfrew and

Danielle Steed of Cranberry Township.———

Caitlin Clouse of Butler is currently studying abroad through the Boston University International Programs office.Clouse is a business administration and management major at the university's school of management and is currently enrolled in the Sydney Management Internship Program through the end of the spring semester.Clouse is scheduled to graduate from Boston University in 2010.———

Krystle Foertsch of Butler was accepted at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. She is a senior at Knoch High School and plans to major in fine arts.She is the daughter of William and Mandi Foertsch.
