5:01 p.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by a 17-year-old boy from Renfrew struck a parked car owned by James Pint of Lyndora in the 600 block of Bessemer Avenue. No one was injured.Thursday — Tabitha Thomas, 18, of Lower Burrell was charged with retail theft after she allegedly tried to steal 12 PlayStation games valued at $240 from the Wal-Mart in Butler Commons. Thomas was placed in the Butler County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.

11:45 p.m. Friday — Neal Patrick Powell, 48, of Slippery Rock was charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop at the intersection of Route 108 and Wolfe Lane in Worth Township.5:49 p.m. Thursday — A pickup truck driven by Donald C. Reisdorf, 61, of Evans City and a car driven by Adam J. Eppinger, 33, of Zelienople collided on Interstate 79 near Ehrman Road in Cranberry Township. Both drivers and Reisdorf's passenger, Jeremy C. Hughes, 36, of Evans City, were uninjured. Reisdorf was charged with driving under the influence and hit and run to an attended vehicle after he allegedly fled following the collision.9:13 p.m. Wednesday — Regis P. Wearing, 43, of Callery was charged with indirect criminal contempt after he allegedly violated a protection from abuse order by contacting a 41-year-old Evans City woman by telephone. Wearing was placed in the Butler County Jail in lieu of $3,000 bail.10:31 p.m. Tuesday — David L. King Sr., 47, of Lyndora was charged with driving under the influence and recklessly endangering after his vehicle was allegedly observed swerving and almost hitting a parked car on Hansen Avenue in Butler Township. King allegedly told police the car was swerving because he was letting his 9-year-old son steer.

8 p.m. Feb. 8 — A car driven by Valarie R. Bruno, 21, of New Castle crashed into a ditch along Mill Bridge Road in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. Bruno and her passenger, Christine L. Bruno, 43, of New Castle, were uninjured. Valarie Bruno was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
