Justin Werner and Ashley Melder

An Oct. 17 wedding is being planned by Ashley Melder and Justin Werner, both of Butler.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ray and Cathy Melder of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Gerard and Colleen Werner of Butler.

The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Butler High School and a 2008 graduate of Robert Morris University. She works as a nurse at Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Her fiance graduated in 2003 from Butler High School and in 2006 from Butler County Community College. He works for UPS and the County of Butler.
