4:49 p.m. Wednesday — A suspected thief was caught on video recorded by a surveillance camera taking a purse at the Subway restaurant at Route 8 and Mercer Road in Center Township. Police said Travis Fair, 18, of Butler stole the purse owned by a 21-year-old Butler woman.
