Daniel P. Rittelmann
Daniel P. Rittelmann, 67, of Hershey, formerly of Butler, passed away Dec. 23 at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 12, 1941, in Beaver Falls, a son of the late Paul A. and Louise J. (Criste) Rittelmann.
Mr. Rittelmann retired four years ago from the press room at Hershey Foods after 40 years.
He was a member of the St. Joan of Arc Church in Hershey, St. Joan of Arc Council 6693 Knights of Columbus and Chocolate Workers' Local 464.
He was an avid reader and enjoyed walking and swimming.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia L. (Pasquale) Rittelmann; a son, Paul E. Rittelmann of Mount Joy; two brothers, Richard Rittelmann and his wife, Jane, of Butler and David Rittelmann and his wife, Rita, of Hummelstown; three sisters, Sandra Rubin and her husband, Dr. Mort Rubin, of Mechanicsburg, Karen Weikert and her husband, Thomas, of Camp Hill, and Paulette Rittelmann of Mount Joy; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Joan Marie.
<B>RITTELMANN</B> — A Mass of Christian burial for Daniel P. Rittelmann, who died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008, was Dec. 27 at his church.
