2:20 a.m. Sunday — Justin Paul Enslen, 21, of Connoquenessing is accused of assaulting his girlfriend, 23-year-old Kassandra Walker of Butler, during a domestic dispute on West New Castle Street.Walker told police Enslen struck her while riding in a vehicle and threw her out of the vehicle. Police a short time later stopped Enslen driving a sport utility vehicle on Mercer Street.Police said Enslen is charged with simple assault and driving with a suspended license. Walker was cited for public drunkenness.Saturday — Police charged Howard E. Garvin, 42, of Kittanning for bad checks stemming from a check for $1,484 written from the account of Garvin Transport Salvage &Sales that was passed Jan. 7 to the C.W. Howard Insurance Co. of Butler.

12:42 p.m. Sunday — Three Chicora area residents face charges stemming from an altercation at a Sevens Hills Road home in Concord Township. Charged with simple assault and harassment are Lenny D. Porter Jr., 32; Lenny D. Porter Sr., 53; and Darlene Y. Stiteler, 37, according to police.2:56 a.m. Sunday — Several packs of cigarettes and several bottles of cough medicine were stolen in a burglary at the Hilltop Mini Mart on Route 68 in Oakland Township.2:35 a.m. Sunday — Meghan Sarah Hafer, 21, of Greensburg, Westmoreland County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Route 8 and Leslie Road in Middlesex Township.2:17 a.m. Sunday — James C. Beck, 41, of Slippery Rock was arrested for suspicion of DUI and possession of marijuana on Route 173 in Brady Township.2:19 p.m. Saturday — An unidentified vehicle pulling a trailer sideswiped a car on the exit ramp from the Pennsylvania Turnpike to Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township and did not stop after the crash. Carol Toland, 59, of Apollo, Armstrong County, was driving the car.2:02 p.m. Saturday — Howard Lawrence White, no age given, of 212 Green View Acres, Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUI at Route 8 and Old Route 8 in Middlesex Township.3 a.m. Saturday — Anthony Cook, 24, of McDonald, Washington County, was arrested for allegedly assaulting a 23-year-old Pittsburgh woman during a domestic dispute at a Cameron Drive home in Slippery Rock Township.Cook was arraigned on a charge of simple assault and placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bail.3 a.m. Saturday — Christos D. Klutinoty, 18, of Butler was arrested for allegedly assaulting a 17-year-old Butler girl during a domestic dispute at a Harmony Road home in Prospect. Klutinoty is charged with simple assault.1:10 a.m. Saturday — Nichole Leighton, 24, of Pittsburgh was arrested for suspicion of DUI on I-79 in Worth Township.2:33 p.m. Friday — A car driven by James Quaintance, no age given, of Boyers and a truck driven by Leonard Scholl, 55, of West Sunbury collided at Routes 268 and 68 in Fairview Township.11:30 a.m. Friday — Five students at Moniteau High School were cited for disorderly conduct in connection with a food fight in the school's cafeteria in Cherry Township. Police noted that a high school staff member was hit in the head with an apple during the food fracas.9:15 a.m. Thursday — A car driven by Melissa Miano, no age given, of West Sunbury and a dump truck driven by Bud Herold, no age given, of Sligo, Clarion County, collided on Halston Road in Clay Township.9:02 a.m. Wednesday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Barbara D. Shearer, 56, and a car driven by Karen D. Pressler, 55, both of Butler, collided at Routes 8 and 308 in Center Township. Pressler suffered an unknown injury. Police said Shearer was cited for running a red light.Noon Feb. 2 — An unknown thief stole prescription medication from a Rustic Ridge Lane home in Summit Township.7:40 p.m. Jan. 18 — Thomas L. Allman, 53, of Finleyville, Washington County, was arrested for DUI after his car crashed into a guardrail on I-79 in Cranberry Township. Police said Allman also was cited for speeding and other traffic violations.

11:05 a.m. Jan. 28 — A car driven by Timothy D. Gates, 48, of Kittanning crashed into a concrete median barrier, spun around and hit the barrier a second time on Route 28 near Horseshoe Drive in Buffalo Township, Butler County. Police said Gates was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
