Alison Gerginski, a junior at Westminster College, is one of eight Westminster students who were chosen to participate in the 62nd annual Pennsylvania Intercollegiate Band festival March 13 to 15 at Allegheny College in Meadville.On arrival, students will rehearse for an hour before auditioning for specific placement in the ensemble.The honors ensemble, which is the longest continually held festival of its kind in the country, will present a 2 p.m. concert March 15.Gerginski is a daughter of Mark and Barbara Gerginski of Harmony and a graduate of Seneca Valley High School. She plays tuba.———
Matthew Bocchi of Cabot was awarded a Trustee Scholarship by Allegheny College in Meadville. Bocchi is a senior at St. Joseph High School.The scholarship is an achievement-based award that is guaranteed for four years of study at the college.
