2:09 a.m. Thursday — Anthony L. Cottom, 27, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on East Brady Street. Cottom also was cited for a stop sign violation.2:11 p.m. Saturday — A 13-year-old was arrested for possession of marijuana with the intent to sell it to students at the Butler Junior High School. Police did not identify the suspect, who faces charges in juvenile court.2:32 a.m. Saturday — Jesse Edward Smith, 27, of Butler was arrested for DUI on East Jefferson Street. Smith also was cited for driving with a suspended license and running a red light.11:23 p.m. Jan. 30 — Tomi Lynn Eck, 22, of Evans City was arrested for DUI on West Jefferson Street. Eck also was cited for driving with a suspended license, not using turn signals and having an obscured license plate.

3:58 p.m. Wednesday — Cars driven by Jessica Hotz, 18, of Franklin Township and John F. Lincoln, 74, of Butler collided at Routes 356 and 68. Lincoln complained of back pain after the crash.

3:40 p.m. Thursday — Atruck driven by Mike Crall, 36, of Harrisville and a car driven by Eric Grubbs, 48, of Chicora collided on West Slippery Rock Road in Fairview Township.5:58 a.m. Thursday — A Buffalo Township EMS ambulance driven by Ryan Weaver, 19, of Tarentum, Allegheny County, traveled up an embankment, flipped onto its driver's side and ran over a culvert on Route 356 north of Burtner Road in Jefferson Township.
